Norm Allgood
Regional Vice President

Norm Allgood has been with IPD since September 2001 and has served as Regional Vice President since January 2003. Norm began his career with IPD as the Contract Director at Cornerstone University in Grand Rapids, MI, where he assisted in the development of academic programs, geographical expansion, and enrollment growth of more than 26%.

Prior to his tenure at IPD, Norm served in the U.S. Army from 1987-1991 as an active duty Military Police Officer and in the Army Reserve from 1991-1995. While in the military, he was involved in operations in Panama, Egypt, and Korea.

Following his military career, Norm was with Target Corporation from 1994 to 2000, responsible for up to 17 stores throughout the state of Michigan. While at Target, he was a Master Trainer in the Leadership Training and Development division and also served as the educational liaison between Target Corporation and Michigan State University. In this capacity he worked closely with the University to develop the first Master of Science in Criminal Justice program to be offered completely online to students worldwide. After Target, from 2000 to 2001, he became the Chief Operations Officer for a small retail chain in Michigan and Ohio.

Norm is married to a wonderful wife and has two sons. He is very active in his church and serves the Detroit Archdiocese Vicariate Board.

Norm received his Bachelor of Science in Management and his MBA with an International Focus from Cornerstone University.
