Jane Baker Pierce
Senior Regional Vice President

Jane has been with the Institute for Professional Development since April 1988 and has served as Regional Vice President since 1998. Jane was promoted to Senior Regional Vice President in 2009.

Jane began her career with IPD as an enrollment representative for Cardinal Stritch University and was promoted to enrollment manager for Olivet Nazarene University in 1990. Jane became the Contract Director at Olivet in 1992 and transferred to Shorter College in Georgia to continue in the role as a Contract Director in 1994.

Before coming to IPD, Jane was a mental health therapist, specializing in family therapy and addictions. She worked at three different hospitals specializing in addictions after receiving her Master of Social Work degree in 1981 from the University of Wisconsin-Milwaukee. While employed as a therapist, Jane taught for Mount Mary College in Milwaukee for three years as an adjunct faculty member in the Social Work Department. Jane's undergraduate degree is a BSM from UWM.
