IPD and Ohio Dominican University Extend Partnership

The extension continues a partnership established between the university and IPD in 1995. The partnership serves adult learners through the LEAD Program, which currently has locations in Columbus, Dublin, and Chillicothe, OH. Undergraduate programs available through the LEAD Program include an Associate of Science in Business and a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, which is offered on its own or with a Concentration in Management. Graduate programs offered include a Master of Business Administration and a Master of Science in Management.

Ohio Dominican was chartered in 1911 as the College of Saint Mary of the Springs, an all-women’s institution founded in the Catholic tradition by the Dominican Sisters of Saint Mary of the Springs. The institution became coeducational in 1964 and changed its name to Ohio Dominican College in 1968. The institution proudly established itself as a university on July 1, 2002. Ohio Dominican is led in its educational mission by the Dominican motto “to contemplate truth and to share with others the fruits of this contemplation.” The university has been experiencing significant growth, with the addition of a new residence hall that opened in the fall of 2008 and construction underway on the main campus’s first student center, which is scheduled to open in the fall of 2009.

The contract extension was made possible through the dedication of the following university leaders: Mr. David Archibald, Vice President of Marketing and Enrollment; Mr. Ronald Seiffert, Vice President of University Resources; and Mr. William Vensel, Dean of Adult Programs.

IPD is excited about its future with Ohio Dominican and the opportunity to grow with the adult community the partnership serves.
