IPD Announces Contract Extension With Gwynedd-Mercy College

IPD is pleased to announce that it recently extended its contract with Gwynedd-Mercy College for an additional 5 years. IPD has worked with Gwynedd-Mercy since 1988, and together they serve adult students in Pennsylvania's Philadelphia, Bucks, and Montgomery Counties. Programs offered through the partnership include an Associate of Science in Business Administration; a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration, with two concentration options; a Bachelor of Science in Nursing; a Master of Science in Management; and, starting January 1, 2009, a Master of Science in Education Administration, with two certification options, and a Master of Science in Reading with a Reading Specialist Certification.

The continued partnership with Gwynedd-Mercy was made possible through the outstanding leadership at the college, namely, Dr. Kathleen Owens, President; Mr. Kevin O'Flaherty, Vice President of Finance; Dr. Denise Wilbur, Vice President of Academic Services; and Mr. Joe Coleman, Executive Director of the Center for Lifelong Learning.

Founded in 1948 by the Sisters of Mercy, Gwynedd-Mercy is a Catholic college with a strong foundation in the liberal arts. The college's academic distinction lies in its excellent programs in health care, education, and business administration, which prepare students to become leaders in the region's powerful and growing life sciences industry. The college educates students in the Mercy tradition of service to society, preparing individuals not only to find jobs but also to create lives and careers with deep meaning.

IPD is excited to work toward further growth and development with Gwynedd-Mercy. IPD is also honored by the continued opportunity to assist Gwynedd-Mercy in changing the lives of adult students and their families.
