IPD Announces New Partnership With Central Methodist University
On July 15, IPD entered into a partnership with Central Methodist University, located in Missouri. The joint venture will begin with operations in the St. Louis area, initially offering associate’s degrees in business and psychology; bachelor’s degrees in business, psychology, and nursing; and a master’s degree in education. Planning is underway to collaborate on additional master’s level programs and expansion into other geographic areas.
Central Methodist is a private university dedicated to “preparing students through academic excellence, personal attention, critical thinking, knowledge access, career development, servant leadership, and social consciousness” (www.centralmethodist.edu). The university is known in Missouri as a leader in teacher education and the liberal arts, and the diversity of degree programs for working adults made the partnership very attractive for both Central Methodist and IPD. The partnership was made possible through the outstanding leadership of Central Methodist’s president, Dr. Marianne Inman, and provost, Dr. Rita Gulstad.
IPD is very pleased to work with Central Methodist to expand adult degree programs in St. Louis. IPD’s operations will be headed by Jeff Driskill, regional vice president, who is currently recruiting management and enrollment and accounting personnel. IPD is excited and honored to have the opportunity to assist in changing the lives of adult students and their families in the St. Louis area.
