Press Release: IPD Launches Higher Education Services Division
Building on its nearly 40-year history as the leading provider of higher education partnerships, the Institute for Professional Development (IPD) announced the launch of its Higher Education Services division.
IPD Aids Baker University with Mock Accreditation Visit
As our partner institutions prepare paperwork to offer new programs, move to new locations, or even get ready for their 10-year accreditation evaluations, IPD can provide guidance and consultation.
IPD Offers Comprehensive Systems Reviews to Higher Education Institutions
IPD has offered Comprehensive Systems Reviews to all of its partner institutions since the early '90s -- more than 50 reviews in all. Recently, IPD expanded its Higher Education Services to offer the Comprehensive System Review (CSR) to non-partner institutions.

New ED Regulations Take Effect July 2011
The U.S. Department of Education (ED) has issued new regulations that are effective July 1, 2011. These regulations have the potential to affect both the adult and traditional programs at higher education institutions.

SEPTEMBER


Thomas More Extends Contract with IPD
Thomas More College (TMC) signed a five-year contract extension with the Institute for Professional Development (IPD). Effective September 2011, this partnership renewal will include the development of new adult degrees for TMC's The Accelerated Program (TAP).
Averett Signs on for Five More Years with IPD
After 22 years of partnership, Averett University has committed to another five years with the Institute for Professional Development (IPD). Effective September 2010, this contract renewal will allow the partners to establish new degree programs and online environments for Averett's Graduate and Professional Studies (GPS) program.

IPD Vice President of Academic and Institutional Services, Dr. Sue Salter Dietrich, celebrates 30 years of service and looks back on a "Traditionally Nontraditional" career.

For 35 years the Institute for Professional Development has provided program development and management consulting services to private colleges and universities interested in expanding or developing their programs for working adults.

Best Wishes to Dr. Jay Barber
Dr. Jay Barber, President of Warner Pacific College, has announced his retirement, effective May 31, 2008. IPD greatly appreciates Dr. Barber's many years of outstanding leadership and dedicated support of adult education through the Adult Degree Program.

IPD is excited to announce a 5-year extension of its contract with Indiana Wesleyan University in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio.

IPD's Corporate Office Has Moved!
IPD is pleased to announce that its corporate office has relocated to Apollo Group's Riverpoint Center, named for its proximity to the Salt River. The campus was recently built in order to consolidate Apollo's Corporate Headquarters and the subsidiary companies in and around Phoenix.

This year has been an exciting one at Montreat College with many significant "firsts" for the School of Professional and Adult Studies.

AUGUST


IPD Extends Partnership with Baker University
IPD is pleased to announce that it has recently extended its contract with Baker University in Kansas. IPD has worked with Baker since 1988, and together they serve adult students in the states of Kansas and Missouri in the following cities: Kansas City, Overland Park, Lawrence, Topeka, Lee's Summit, North Kansas City, and St. Joseph.

IPD Extends Partnership with Cardinal Stritch University
IPD is pleased to announce that it has recently extended its contract with Cardinal Stritch University in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. IPD has worked with Cardinal Stritch since 1982 and serves adult students in Wisconsin and Minnesota in the following cities: Milwaukee, Brookfield, Kenosha, Appleton, Madison, Beloit, Reedsburg, Wassau, LaCrosse, Eau Claire, Edina, Woodbury, Plymouth, North Metro, Rochester, and Red Wing.

IPD Extends Partnership with Albertus Magnus College
IPD is pleased to announce that it has recently extended its contract with Albertus Magnus College in Connecticut. IPD has worked with Albertus Magnus since 1994 and serves adult students in New Haven, Hartford, Stratford, Bridgeport, Danbury, Waterbury, New London, and Shelton.

IPD Extends Partnership with Montreat College
IPD is pleased to have recently renewed its contract with Montreat College in North Carolina. IPD has worked with Montreat since 1994 and serves adult students in Charlotte, Asheville, and Black Mountain.

IPD Extends Partnership with Indiana Wesleyan University
IPD has recently extended its contracts with Indiana Wesleyan University in Indiana, Kentucky, and Ohio. IPD has worked with IWU since 1985 and the renewed partnership has expanded the adult program to include learning centers in Merrillville and Evansville in the state of Indiana.

IPD Announces New Partner Institution: Warner Pacific College
IPD has signed a new contract with Warner Pacific College in Portland, OR. The joint venture will begin with operations in Portland with plans to expand into other areas of Oregon in the future.

IPD Corporate Web Site Undergoes Facelift
IPD kicks off 2004 with a new and improved company Web site.

Academic Services Conference Highlights Learning Communities, Copyright
Twenty-two participants from 10 CAAHE Member Institutions attended the annual CAAHE/IPD Academic Services Conference, held October 21–22, 2003, in Scottsdale, AZ.

Saint Gregory's University College for Working Adults Celebrates Grand Opening
The grand opening of Saint Gregory's University College for Working Adults was held September 15, 2003, in Tulsa, OK.

New Partner Institution: Saint Gregory's University
IPD has signed a new contract with Saint Gregory's University in Shawnee, Oklahoma. Our joint venture will begin with operations in Tulsa, Oklahoma with plans to expand into Oklahoma City.
