In addition to faculty professional development, IPD also provides the following academic consulting services:

  • Faculty Recruitment and Assessment — IPD offers consulting services to help partner institutions identify faculty recruiting needs and to establish processes for the effective recruitment and assessment of faculty for their accelerated programs.

  • Online Program Development — IPD offers consulting services for partner institutions that are interested in online programs. IPD can offer consultation in curriculum design of online programs as well as address faculty development needs.

  • Instructional Design Reviews — IPD offers instructional design reviews of all curriculum modules. The purpose of the instructional design review is to identify the strengths of the module and areas for improvement, as well as to provide feedback for immediate or future use, depending on the wishes of the institution.

  • Instructional Design of Online Curriculum — IPD provides instructional design consultation to faculty members tasked in converting to an online delivery modality.

  • Work-flow Analysis — This service is provided when it is necessary to identify internal processes and procedures within a partner institution's academic services department. The work-flow analysis can be used as a stand-alone tool or as part of a comprehensive systems review to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of faculty services.

  • Biennial Academic Services Conferences — The conferences are targeted at IPD partner institution personnel employed in adult program curriculum development and faculty services. Conference attendees receive additional information on best practices and are introduced to cutting-edge ideas for increased success.
