Utilization of Information Technology (IT) is essential for efficient and effective systemic operations. Therefore, IPD's IT department provides support for various organizational tools, including telecommunications, networking, desktop and mobile computers, student databases, lead management, and student accounts software. IT is central to the creation of instruments as well as processing and managing projects necessary to gather and analyze data that are crucial to organizational decision making. IPD IT services include the following:

• Automating data exchange with partner institutions.
• Managing dynamic marketing Web sites with content that is easily updated by marketing staff.
• Hosting live, online, and interactive meetings with potential students.
• Branding e-mail addresses to partner institutions' domains.
• Consulting, developing, and integrating systems on a fee-for-service basis.

The IT staff possesses a range of skills and abilities with which to adapt to the changing nature of technology. Currently, additional IPD areas of focus include expanding capabilities to provide automated data integration and enhanced data warehousing.
