IPD provides strategic advertising planning, media services, and creative development through its in-house, multiservice advertising agency. The agency's goal is to generate qualified student inquiries needed to achieve enrollment objectives. Services include the following:
- Comprehensive advertising planning, implementation, and results analysis.
- Campaign development, including creative messaging that supports the mission of the partner institution while increasing visibility in the marketplace via broadcasts, direct mail, electronic media, print, and other vehicles.
- Creative production, including graphic services that support individualized advertising executions.
- Development and maintenance of marketing Web sites for the adult learner and adult degree programs.
- Geographic, demographic, and psychographic market research, including current student profiling and exploration of growth opportunities with new audiences, locations, and academic products.
IPD's advertising and marketing team works closely with each partner institution to create unique and comprehensive advertising campaigns that capture the essence of the partner institution as well as the attention of the prospective student. Careful attention is paid to the "brand" of each partner institution, with the goal of strengthening that brand throughout the community.
Each strategic marketing campaign includes a balanced media plan that utilizes such components as Internet advertising, direct mail, radio, print, television, and outdoor advertising. Along with the media campaign, business development specialists and corporate liaisons are hired and trained to represent the institution and develop relationships with local corporations, community colleges, and other organizations.
The team produces a comprehensive, high-quality promotional materials package as an important component of each institution's marketing strategy. Each promotional package is unique and can either be designed to compliment the promotional materials currently in use at the institution or present an entirely new image. These distinctive promotional packages include a variety of brochures and fliers, program and curriculum information, admission and graduation requirements, fee schedules, posters, student applications, and all other printed or electronic materials required to effectively market to adult students.
